- Joseph Mahlmann writes: In Emstek there is nog birth record of Helena Aldehus (oldehues) in 1689. When Ludger von Husen states that she comes from Emstek, then it can only be this family. [Here Joseph writes about the only Aldehus family that he found in the churchbooks]
Ludger con Husen writes march 7, 2006: The Emstek Seelenregister 1703 lists in the peasantry Repke the following family: Henrich Oldehus 51, Wife Anna 45, Son herman 25, daughter Anna Catharina 21, son Johan Henrich 19, daughter Helena 16, son Johan 11, daughter Lucke 9. When these ages are more or less close to reality, then Helena was born about 1687 and then she should most definitely be considered a candidate to be Johan Lampings wife. Among the godparents of the marriage couple Lamping/Oldehues there are several persons named Oldehues, that support this assumption: Lucia Oldehues (1713), Anna Catharina Oldehues (1716), Johan Henrich (1720) and Gerd Aldehueß (1727).
